Khawaja Muhammad Ilyas - Chairman

Khawaja Muhammad Ilyas is the Chairman of "Mahmood Textile Mills Limited". and director in other companies of the Group. His long association (more than 50 years) with the Mahmood Group being director, responsibilities bestowed upon him enabled him to accept challenges and take decision in critical scenarios. He possesses expertise and has vast experience in the sector of Ginning which is the backbone of the Group. He has taken leather business to a new height of success by remodeling and introducing new product lines. He, as chairman of Mahmood Textile Mills Limited contribured a lot in the expension & modernization of spinning & Weaving units of MTM and by virtue of his tireless efforts the business of the Mahmood Group has increased many folds in the recent years. He is former president of Bahawalpur Chamber of commerce and Industry. He widely travels abroad and enjoys good reputation both within and outside the country.

Khawaja Muhammad Younus

Khawaja Muhammad Younus is Director of Mahmood Textile Mills Limited and director in other companies of the Group. He is involved with the development of the Group’s textile operations, which has provided him with an in-depth understanding of the business. He is expert in business dealings especially procurement of plant & machinery construction of projects and other Assets. Having good experience of more than 45 years in sale promotion, he also added goodwill for Mahmood products in local as well as international Markets. He is, at present, chairman of Multan Dry Port Trust, chairman Punjab social security health management company (Muzafargarh Hospital) and director Pak Gen Power Ltd. He has been president of DG Khan Chamber of Commerce, member executive committee Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry, member executive committee All Pakistan Textile Mills Association, Chairman Multan education trust and member of governing body Textile College of Bahauddin Zakaria University.

Khawaja Muhammad Muzaffar Iqbal

Khawaja Muhammad Muzaffar Iqbal is Master in Business Administration with more than 25 years of experience in the textile sector. He is managing the operations of weaving business unit of the Company through his knowledge, skills and experience of Weaving Business. It is due to his relentless efforts that weaving business has florished many folds in the recent years. The Unit under his control and supervision is one of the most effective and efficient producer of "A" grade quality fabric in Pakistan. Weaving business is contributing substantially of total turnover of the Company by exporting larger share to Europe, Turkey, China, USA, North African Market, South American Market, Japan, Korea, Vietnam and other markets & customers of the world.

Mr. Muhammad Anees - Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Muhammad Anees is Master in Business Administration and has attended Executive courses at London School of Economics (UK). He joined the group in 2003 and is also on Board of Directors of other companies of the Group. He is proficiently managing the affairs of the group related to apparel Marketing, BMR, administration, audit, IT & ERP.
He is the former president of D. G. Khan Chamber of Commerce & Industry and had been senior vice chairman and vice chairman of All Pakistan Textile Mills Association, chairman of All Pakistan Bed sheets and Upholstery Manufacturers Association and Chairman Cotton committee. He is also director in Multan Electric Power Company. He widely travels abroad for his marketing and BMR related business activities.

Mr. Muhammad Mehr Ali

Mr. Khawaja Muhammad Mehr Ali is a seasoned and accomplished business leader with extensive experience across diversified sectors, including textiles, leather, food, retail, real estate, and energy. With a strong academic background and a results-driven approach, he has consistently demonstrated strategic vision, operational excellence, and sound corporate governance.
He has further enhanced his leadership capabilities by attending multiple executive management programs at Harvard Business School, including Driving Profitable Growth, Business Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
Mr. Mehr has served as Chief Executive Officer of KTM Leather (Pvt.) Ltd., KTM Footwear, and MSI Legwear. He has also held directorial roles at Orient Power (Pvt.) Ltd., a 225-MW Independent Power Producer (IPP), and Mishab Ventures, a startup investment firm.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mr. Mehr is actively engaged in philanthropic initiatives through the Mehr Ali Foundation, which focuses on improving access to education, healthcare, and social support for underprivileged communities, contributing meaningfully to societal development.

Mr. Muhammad Asghar

Mr. Muhammad Asghar is law graduate and has 44 years of banking experience in United Bank Limited. Joined as officer Grade || in 1971 and retired as SEVP / Group Executive Special Assets Management and advisor to the president in 2013. He has worked in all segments of banking including, branch banking sales, Operations, Foreign exchange Trade, advances, Human resource and asset management in domestic as well as overseas branches, He has been director on the board of
Pakistan Agriculture Storage and Services Corporation (Passco) 2004 2013.

     UBL Fund Management 2005 – 2010
At present He is Director on the board of
SPO Insurance Company Limited since 2016 to Date
Independent Director on the Board of Mahmood Textile Mills Ltd since 2020 to date
He has attended various Banking Courses/Seminars on Credit, Assets, Foreign exchange, Management and Trade Business in UAE, Bahrain and Pakistan. Completed Directors training, program of 29” OTP of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP).

Mr. Farid Ahmed Khan

Farid Khan is a seasoned C-suite financial services leader with over 30 years of experience across corporate banking, investment banking, capital markets, fund management and digital transformation. Most recently, he served as Group Chief, Corporate & Investment Banking Group at the Bank of Punjab, where he also assumed Acting President responsibilities on multiple occasions.
He has held senior roles with leading global institutions including Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley, with experience across the UK, Singapore, Turkey, and Malaysia. Farid brings strong expertise in structuring and executing complex project finance, capital markets, M&A, and privatisation transactions, many of which have received industry recognition from Euromoney, Asia money, and CFA societies.
An accomplished builder and transformer of institutions, he has founded two successful financial ventures as CEO and has accumulated more than 14 years of experience as Chief Executive of regulated financial entities. He has also served extensively on boards in both the public and private sectors and is a certified independent director.
Farid holds an MBA from IBA and is a CFA charterholder, combining strong academic credentials with practical, execution-driven leadership at the highest levels of the financial sector.

MS. Filza Mumtaz

Ms. Filza Mumtaz has done her MBA from LUMS. She also has done short courses in “Role of Governance in Private Sector development” from university of Queens Land Australia. She has a rich experience of over twenty (20) years.
Filza Mumtaz is a social entrepreneur and institutional leader committed to inclusive economic growth, women’s empowerment, and sustainable development in Pakistan. She is the Founder and CEO of Shahs, a Multan-based craft and social enterprise that works directly with women artisans in South Punjab to revive traditional handicrafts through fair wages, skills development, and market access. Deeply embedded within artisan communities, her work has helped transform informal craft skills into dignified livelihoods, benefiting thousands of women over the past decade. Alongside her entrepreneurial journey, Filza has played an active role in public-private leadership, having served as President of the Multan Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (2017–18). She currently serves as an Independent Director on the Board of the National Productivity Organization (NPO), Ministry of Industries & Production, contributing to policy-level discussions on productivity, competitiveness, and industrial development. She has also served as a Director on the Waste Management Board, bringing a sustainability-focused, community-centric perspective to governance and urban systems. Through her platform WEEN (Women Economic Empowerment Network), Filza continues to mentor and advocate for emerging women entrepreneurs, bridging grassroots enterprise with institutional leadership to build resilient, future-ready economic ecosystems.
